ANNULLAMENTO DEL RITO DI CHIUSURA DELLA SETTIMANA DI PREGHIERA PER L’UNITA’ DEI CRISTIANI E RINVIO DELL’INVESTITURA DI DUE VESCOVI

A causa dell’aggravarsi dell’emergenza pandemica da COVID 19 e dello stato di quarantena della Basilica Abbaziale di San Martino delle Scale, il rito di chiusura della Settimana di preghiera per l’unità dei cristiani, fissato per il 23 gennaio 2022, durante il quale doveva pure celebrata l’investitura di due Vescovi non cattolici come membri dell’Ordine di San Lazzaro, è stata annullata.

L’investitura dei due Vescovi avverrà durante la già programmata cerimonia di investitura dell’11 – 12 giugno 2022, sempre presso la Basilica Abbaziale di San Martino delle Scale.

CANCELLATION OF THE CLOSING RITE OF THE WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY AND POSTPONEMENT OF THE INVESTITURE OF TWO BISHOPS

Due to the worsening of the COVID 19 pandemic emergency and the quarantine status of the Abbey Basilica of San Martino delle Scale, the closing rite of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, scheduled for 23 January 2022, during which the investiture of two non-Catholic bishops as members of the Order of St Lazarus was also to be celebrated, has been cancelled.

The investiture of the two bishops will take place during the already scheduled investiture ceremony on 11-12 June 2022, again at the Abbey Basilica of San Martino delle Scale.
