IL PROGRAMMA DELLE INVESTITURE 2024 DEL GRAN BALIATO DI SICILIA

Avranno luogo il 20 ed il 21 gennaio 2024 i solenni riti per le investiture dei nuovi membri del Gran Baliato di Sicilia.

La Veglia si svolgerà il 20 gennaio alle ore 19.00 presso la Basilica Cattedrale di Monreale, in concomitanza con la veglia di preghiera per la settimana di preghiera per l’unità dei cristiani, e sarà presieduta dall’Arcivescovo di Monreale e Cappellano Maggiore del Gran Baliato Mons. Gualtiero Isacchi, ECLJ.

Il Pontificale e la cerimonia di investitura si svolgerà, invece, presso la Chiesa Capitolare del Sacro Cuore di Monreale, il 21 gennaio alle ore 10.30 e sarà presieduto dal Gran Priore Ecclesiastico dell’Ordine di San Lazzaro di Gerusalemme, Mons. Michele Pennisi, GCLJ, Arcivescovo emerito di Monreale, e concelebrato dall’Arcivescovo di Monreale e Cappellano Maggiore del Gran Baliato Mons. Gualtiero Isacchi, ECLJ e dall’Abate di San Martino delle Scale, Dom Vittorio Rizzone, ECLJ, Cappellano del Gran Baliato.

Tra i nuovi membri l’arcivescovo anglicano Ian Ernest, rappresentante personale dell’arcivescovo di Canterbury presso la Santa Sede e l’arcivescovo Antonii, Metropolita Antonii dell'Europa occidentale e centrale della Chiesa ortodossa bulgara - Patriarcato di Bulgaria.

THE 2024 INVESTITURE PROGRAMME OF THE GRAND BAILIWICK OF SICILY

The solemn rites for the investiture of the new members of the Grand Bailiwick of Sicily will take place on 20 and 21 January 2024.

The Vigil will take place on 20 January at 7.00 p.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of Monreale, in conjunction with the prayer vigil for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, and will be presided over by the Archbishop of Monreale and Senior Chaplain of the Grand Bailiwick, Monsignor Gualtiero Isacchi, ECLJ.

The Pontifical and investiture ceremony will take place at the Sacred Heart Chapter Church in Monreale on 21 January at 10.30 a.m. and will be presided over by the Ecclesiastical Grand Prior of the Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem, Mons. Michele Pennisi, GCLJ, Archbishop Emeritus of Monreale, and concelebrated by the Archbishop of Monreale and Senior Chaplain of the Grand Bailiwick, Mgr Gualtiero Isacchi, ECLJ, and the Abbot of San Martino delle Scale, Dom Vittorio Rizzone, ECLJ, Chaplain of the Grand Bailiwick.

Among the new members were Anglican Archbishop Ian Ernest, Personal Representative of the Archbishop of Canterbury to the Holy See and Archbishop Antonii, Metropolitan of Western and Central Europe of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church - Patriarchate of Bulgaria.
