Il Molto Reverendo Ivan Ivanov, ChLJ, nel corso delle celebrazioni per le investiture 2021 del Gran Baliato di Sicilia, ha tenuto, nella sua qualità di accademico ordinario dell’Accademia Lazzarita San Luigi IX Re di Francia, una lectio magistralis sulla Chiesa Ortodossa Bulgara, della quale è rappresentante in Italia e presso la Santa Sede.

Era presente un folto gruppo di cavalieri ed ospiti, oltre all’Arcivescovo di Monreale Mons. Michele Pennisi, GCLJ, Gran Priore Spirituale dell’Ordine di San Lazzaro di Gerusalemme e Cappellano Maggiore del Gran Baliato di Sicilia, il Molto Reverendo Mons. Chihade ABBOUD, CHLJ, Apocrisario presso la Santa Sede del Patriarcato Greco-Melkita di Antiochia ed il Molto Reverendo Abate Notker Wolf, ECLJ, Primate Emerito dei Benedettini.

ON THE BULGARIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH

The Very Reverend Ivan Ivanov, ChLJ, during the celebrations for the 2021 investiture of the Grand Bailiwick of Sicily, gave a lectio magistralis on the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, of which he is the representative in Italy and at the Holy See, in his capacity as ordinary academician of the Lazarus Academy of St Louis IX King of France.

A large group of knights and guests were present, in addition to the Archbishop of Monreale Monsignor Michele Pennisi, GCLJ, Grand Spiritual Prior of the Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem and Senior Chaplain of the Grand Bailiwick of Sicily, the Very Reverend Monsignor Chihade ABBOUD, CHLJ, Apocrisary to the Holy See of the Greek-Melkite Patriarchate of Antioch and the Very Reverend Abbot Notker Wolf, ECLJ, Primate Emeritus of the Benedictines.
