CERIMONIA DI INVESTITURA NEL GRAN PRIORATO DI INGHILTERRA E GALLES

La cerimonia di investitura del Gran Priorato d'Inghilterra e del Galles si è tenuta sabato 30 aprile 2022 nella splendida chiesa di St Paul, Knightsbridge, Londra.

Il servizio liturgico è stato guidato dal Cappellano Generale, il Reverendo Canon Andrew Stevens SChLJ ed il predicatore è stato il Reverendo Monsignor Keith Newton PA - Ordinario dell'Ordinariato Personale cattolico di Nostra Signora di Walsingham. L'Ufficiale investitore era il Gran Priore d'Inghilterra e Galles, l'Onorevole Marchese di Lothian PC, GCLJ, QC, DL assistito dal Balì Sua Eccellenza, il Chevalier Charles Holloway GCLJ, KMLJ.

Presenti alla cerimonia, tra gli altri, il Lord Sindaco di Londra, Sua Eccellenza Alderman Vincent Keaveny GCLJ, e la consorte Amanda Keaveny, CMLJ.

L'investitura è stata seguita da un ricevimento al Royal Thames Yacht Club.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY IN THE GRAND PRIORY OF ENGLAND AND WALES

The Cerimony of Investiture of the Grand Priory of England and Wales was held on Saturday 30th April 2022 at the splendid St Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, London.

The liturgical service was led by the Chaplain-General The Revd Canon Andrew Stevens SChLJ and the Preacher was The Rt Revd Monsignor Keith Newton PA - Ordinary of the Personal Catholic Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. The Investing Officer was The Grand Prior of England and Wales, The Most Honourable the Marquis of Lothian PC, GCLJ, QC, DL assisted by The Bailiff His Excellency, the Chevalier Charles Holloway GCLJ, KMLJ.

It was a particular pleasure to welcome the Lord Mayor of London, His Excellency Alderman Vincent Keaveny GCLJ, and the Lady Mayoress, Amanda Keaveny CMLJ.

The Investiture was followed by a banquet at the Royal Thames Yacht Club.
