ORDINAZIONE COME PREDICATORE DELLA CHIESA EVANGELICA DELLA GERMANIA CENTRALE DI UN MEMBRO DELL’ORDINE DI SAN LAZZARO DI GERUSALEMME

Domenica 3 Maggio 2026, il nostro membro dell'Ordine, André Poppowitsch, è stato ordinato come predicatore nella cattedrale di San Maurizio e Caterina a Magdeburgo, della Chiesa Evangelica nella Germania centrale.

L'ordinazione trasmette loro il diritto di annunciare pubblicamente il Vangelo in culti ed eventi ecclesiastici e di dare i sacramenti del Battesimo e della Cena del Signore.

Nella benedizione, gli ordinandi assumono un impegno che riguarda sia il servizio nella Chiesa Evangelica d

ella Germania centrale (EKD) che lo stile di vita personale.

I predicatori assumono volontariamente compiti di culto, predicazione e cura pastorale nella Chiesa protestante della Germania centrale; il loro servizio si basa su una formazione teologica pluriennale.

La celebrazione è stata guidata dal vescovo regionale Friedrich Kramer, dal vescovo regionale Bettina Schlauraff e dal vescovo regionale Tobias Schüfer. Al servizio hanno partecipato anche ospiti di altre chiese cristiane, tra cui il vescovo e teologo Gerhard Feige della diocesi di Magdeburgo, presidente della Commissione ecumenica della Conferenza episcopale tedesca e docente di storia ecclesiastica, patristica e teologia ecumenica a Erfurt, membro della Commissione mista dei metropoliti greco-ortodossi di Germania.

L'Ordine si congratula cordialmente con André Poppowitsch per la sua ordinazione e gli augura la benedizione, la forza e la gioia di Dio per il suo servizio ecclesiastico.

ORDINATION AS A PREACHER IN THE PROTESTANT CHURCH OF CENTRAL GERMANY OF A MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF SAINT LAZARUS OF JERUSALEM

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, our member of the Order, André Poppowitsch, was ordained as a preacher at the Cathedral of St. Maurice and Catherine in Magdeburg, of the Evangelical Church of Central Germany.

Ordainment grants them the right to publicly proclaim the Gospel in services and church events and to administer the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

In the blessing, ordinands make a commitment that concerns both their service in the Evangelical Church of Central Germany (EKD) and their personal lifestyle.

Preachers voluntarily assume duties of worship, preaching, and pastoral care in the Protestant Church of Central Germany; their service is based on many years of theological training.

The celebration was led by Regional Bishop Friedrich Kramer, Regional Bishop Bettina Schlauraff, and Regional Bishop Tobias Schüfer. Guests from other Christian churches also attended the service, including Bishop and theologian Gerhard Feige of the Diocese of Magdeburg, president of the Ecumenical Commission of the German Bishops' Conference and professor of ecclesiastical history, patristics, and ecumenical theology in Erfurt, and a member of the Joint Commission of Greek Orthodox Metropolitans of Germany.

The Order warmly congratulates André Poppowitsch on his ordination and wishes him God's blessing, strength, and joy in his ecclesiastical service.
